Our Deal Advisory - Valuations team in Vaughan is seeking a Consultant / Senior Consultant, Valuations. The successful candidate will contribute to preparing valuation models and reports for various external non-audit clients, and support the KPMG Audit Practice with valuation assertions during audits.

What You Will Do

• Support valuation assignments for transactions, financial reporting, and other services across industries
• Oversee multiple engagements ensuring timely client deliverables
• Evaluate business plans, financial statements, agreements, CIMs (Confidential Information Memorandums), etc.
• Develop financial models, apply valuation methodologies, and conduct financial analyses using tools like Bloomberg and Capital IQ
• Perform industry and economic research
• Create, review, and edit reports, memorandums, tables, and graphs

What You Bring To The Role

• Completion of the CPA, CA (Chartered Accountant) designation; candidates who have substantially completed the designation will also be considered
• Interest in obtaining the CBV (Chartered Business Valuator) designation
• Experience in accounting and/or valuations
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and valuation software
• Knowledge of IFRS, ASPE, US GAAP, and fair value concepts
