Our Strategy & Economics team is looking for a competent and energetic individual interested in joining us as a consultant or senior consultant. The candidate should have a strong track record, and demonstrate strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, as well as proven abilities to work in a team on complex projects.

What You Will Do

The candidate will work within a dynamic and experienced team that provides strategic and economic advice to clients from the public, private, and non-profit sectors. This new colleague will contribute to the success of a wide range of projects, such as:

  • Market research and industry analysis
  • Economic impact studies
  • Economic development and foreign investment attraction strategies
  • Support to major investment projects
  • Public policy analysis
  • Various macro- and microeconomic analyses
  • Strategic planning exercises
  • Business plan preparation

You will be asked to

  • Contribute to key initiatives related to Quebec and Canadian economic development
  • Support businesses and organizations with strategic reviews related to growth and development
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses, including statistics, structured interviews, discussion groups, and literature reviews
  • Summarize studies and findings in presentations and reports, in excellent French and English, using Word and PowerPoint
  • Support the growth of the firm and practice by participating in intellectual initiatives

What You Bring To The Role

We seek candidates passionate about strategy & economy, with:

  • Relevant professional experience (1 to 6 years) in economic or strategy consulting, economic development organizations, etc.
  • A master's degree with an excellent academic record, preferably in economics, finance, strategy, or related fields
  • Advanced quantitative skills (data analysis, statistical analysis, economic modeling). Proficiency in econometrics and programming such as Python and R (asset)
  • Excellent communication skills, with experience in creating presentations and reports
  • Strong teamwork and relationship-building skills
  • Proven initiative, judgment, problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple activities with competing priorities
  • Strong client and community interaction skills
  • Commitment to continuous learning and skill development
  • Relevant work experience in main business sectors (asset)
