Position

Waikato Radiology is undergoing exciting changes. They have a newly rebuilt, state-of-the-art facility with modern equipment, are expanding their services to meet demand, and focus on creating a welcoming and flexible work environment for all staff.

The team includes 23 FTE consultant radiologists and 9 registrars, with strong links to all specialty and subspecialty clinical teams across the Waikato District Health Board, including imaging support for a Level 1 Major Trauma Centre. They are particularly interested in growing expertise in subspecialties such as paediatrics, neuro, nuclear medicine dual training, interventional radiology, and cardio-thoracic subspecialties.

The case mix is diverse, featuring unique infections, rheumatic fever, indigenous health, rural health, and quad bike injuries—offering a wide range of clinical experiences.
