Job summary

Caseware is seeking a Consultant in Professional Services to lead end‑to‑end implementations of Caseware accounting and assurance solutions for clients worldwide.

You will gather requirements, design configurations, train users, and provide go‑live support while mentoring junior team members and managing client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of external audit, assurance, or accounting experience in a professional services firm.
• Strong consultative skills to understand client needs and make recommendations.
• Experience managing senior client stakeholders and delivering via Caseware implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementations of Caseware accounting and assurance solutions, including requirements gathering, design, configuration, testing, training and go-live support.
• Act as the primary solution authority for client engagements, guidingCaseware functionality and best practices.
• Translate requirements into compliant Caseware configurations aligned with standards and firm methodologies.
• Manage client relationships and act as a trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee delivery quality, scope, risk, timelines, and budgets on projects.
• Collaborate with Product, Support and Engineering to escalate issues and improve outcomes.
• Mentor and lead associate consultants and implementation teams.
• Deliver training and change management to drive user adoption and value realization.
• Contribute to proposals, demonstrations, effort estimation, and implementation approaches.
• Continuously improve methodologies and assets using lessons learned and industry trends.

Job description

Caseware is a leading fintech company that provides audit and accounting software to more than 500,000 users worldwide. As a Consultant in Professional Services, you will lead end‑to‑end implementations of Caseware accounting and assurance solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training, and go‑live support. You will be the primary solution expert on client engagements, translating business and regulatory requirements into scalable, best‑practice Caseware configurations and managing senior client stakeholders.

What you will be doing

• Lead end‑to‑end implementations of Caseware accounting and assurance solutions, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, training and go‑live support.
• Act as the primary solution authority for assigned client engagements, providing expert guidance on Caseware functionality, best practices, and accounting workflow optimization.
• Translate client business and regulatory requirements into scalable, compliant Caseware configurations, ensuring alignment with applicable accounting standards and firm methodologies.
• Manage client relationships, serving as a trusted advisor to customer stakeholders throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Oversee project execution and delivery quality on non‑enterprise projects, including scope control, risk identification, issue resolution, and adherence to timelines, budgets, and service standards.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Support, and Engineering teams to escalated issues, contribute to product feedback, and ensure successful client outcomes.
• Mentor and provide technical leadership to associate consultants and implementation team members, including knowledge sharing, solution reviews, and delivery oversight.
• Deliver client training and change management activities, enabling user adoption, process transformation, and long‑term value realization from Caseware solutions.
• Support pre‑sales and solution scoping activities by contributing to proposals, solution demonstrations, effort estimation, and implementation approach definition.
• Continuously improve implementation methodologies and assets, leveraging lessons learned, industry trends, and evolving Caseware capabilities to enhance service delivery effectiveness.

What you will bring

• 4+ years of experience in external audit, assurance, or accounting within a public accounting or professional services firm.
• Experience providing consultative advice to clients, including understanding business requirements and making recommendations.
• Comfortable using and learning accounting, audit, and financial reporting technology solutions. Prior Caseware experience is an asset but not required.

Additional Required Experience & Skills

• Experience supporting software implementations, including requirements gathering, solution configuration, testing, training, and go‑live support.
• Proven ability to manage client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor throughout client engagements.
• Experience owning delivery outcomes, including scope, quality, risk, and timelines, with minimal oversight.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills in a professional services environment.
• Ability to mentor and contribute to team capability development.

Salary Range

The annual base salary for this position is between $103,000 CAD and $120,000 CAD per year. The role is also eligible for discretionary bonus and/or commission, as well as other benefits. Actual pay will be determined based on factors such as transferable skills, relevant experience, market conditions, and primary work location. The posted range is subject to change and may be updated periodically.
