About the Opportunity

Reporting to the MH&A Program Development and working closely with the MHA Program Planning and Development Director, the Consultant supports the development, implementation, and evaluation of MHA services, standards, guidelines, and best practices for individuals with mental illness and addictions. Responsibilities include facilitating health services planning, contributing to quality improvement initiatives, developing new service delivery models, and supporting workforce development.

About You

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • An undergraduate degree in a health discipline or related field (Business, Administration, Health Policy)
  • A Master's level preparation is an asset (in health, business, administration, or public policy)
  • Minimum five years of related experience in health promotion, policy development, and program development aimed at health improvement
  • Experience in research methods, policy analysis, and evidence-informed decision making
  • Experience working in healthcare settings or with healthcare organizations is an asset
  • Project management experience is an asset
  • Understanding of professional development, change management, and working with complex teams
  • Ability to interpret and analyze data
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, report writing, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, databases, PowerPoint, and graphics software
  • Strong organizational skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Competencies in other languages, especially French, are an asset

Hours

Permanent, Full-time; 75 hours biweekly

Compensation and Benefits

$38.36 - $47.95 hourly. Successful candidates may be eligible for benefits including health, dental, travel, long-term disability, life insurance, and a pension plan.
