The role
We are growing our Atlantic team and seeking a Consultant to support our integrated marketing and communications initiatives.
As a Consultant, you’ll help shape and deliver integrated marketing and communications initiatives for well-known brands across sectors—gaining hands-on experience from strategy through execution and exposure to every phase of the client journey. You will step into client-facing roles, manage projects, and work closely with colleagues within NATIONAL and across AVENIRGLOBAL.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day execution across campaigns, content, events, and activations—ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met while coordinating logistics across platforms and touchpoints
- Provide thoughtful, proactive support to account leads and clients by preparing briefing materials, status updates, and presentation decks
- Contribute to the development and execution of multichannel strategies in collaboration with creative, digital, and public affairs teams, bringing a fresh perspective and attention to emerging trends
- Build strong relationships with colleagues, vendors, and partners to ensure efficient collaboration and delivery
- Support strategic planning and recommendations through audience, trend, and market research, and monitor performance for campaign reporting to identify insights and opportunities for optimization
- Participate in client calls and meetings, contributing knowledgeably and confidently on executional details and timelines
- Ensure resource efficiency, time tracking accuracy, and alignment with project scopes and budgets while maintaining organized documentation, calendars, and trackers
- Contribute to internal collaboration, process improvements, and a positive team culture by sharing knowledge, supporting best practices, and helping build internal resources
Qualifications
- 4–6 years in a marketing role (agency experience is an asset); thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments with comfort in hybrid agency settings and cross-functional collaboration
- Organized and proactive orchestrator—adept at moving work forward, aligning teams, and applying strong judgment and instincts for quality, tone, and timing
- Experience developing communication plans and marketing programs, with working knowledge of branding, paid media, campaign development, and website strategy in collaboration with UX, design, and development teams
- Hands-on experience with marketing technology platforms (social publishing, analytics, CRM etc.) an asset; curiosity about emerging tools and tech, including AI applications in marketing and communications
- Strategic mindset: asks smart questions, sees the big picture, and enjoys untangling complex problems
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills; confident and engaging in a room
- Proficiency in French is an asset.

- Compelling writer and persuasive communicator that is able to engage people in-person or through a variety of communications mediums (Word, PowerPoint and other innovative digital platforms)
