Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (CMHT) to work full-time hours for our client based in Cardiff, Glamorgan. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for an immediate start, for a short-term contract.

Responsibilities

1. Provide expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents with complex mental health issues.
2. Lead and oversee the development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
3. Manage and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration among psychologists, social workers, and nurses.

Qualifications and Experience

• Full GMC license to practice.
• Relevant previous experience in this role.
• Section 12 approval.
• Approved clinician status.
