KPMG in Canada is seeking a junior consultant to join their Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practice, specifically focused on GHG emissions verification. The Opportunity
Join our dynamic Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) practice, where we help clients tackle their ESG challenges with actionable solutions. Our team focuses on two main streams : ESG advisory and Greenhouse Gas (GHG) accounting, both of which cater to a broad range of clients across various industries in Canada and globally.
This specific role is part of our GHG accounting stream, with a primary focus on regulatory GHG emissions verification, in accordance with ISO 14064-3, to meet provincial and federal GHG emissions reporting regulations in Canada. As a junior resource, you will work alongside experienced professionals and support various engagements related to GHG emissions verification and advisory services, contributing to the development of impactful and accurate sustainability practices.
What you will do
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the planning, execution, and reporting of client engagements related to GHG emissions. Your key responsibilities will include :
