As a Consultant, Governance & Controls, you'll join Legal's Transformation and Operational Excellence team to support governance activities across Legal. In this role, you'll contribute to the oversight of key processes by supporting the management of controls that help mitigate operational risk and potential losses. You'll help strengthen CIBC's control framework by promoting compliance with regulatory, legislative, and operational requirements, while supporting the timely and effective remediation of identified deficiencies. You'll also work closely with partners across the business to enhance processes, improve governance practices, and support Legal-wide initiatives. At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. You'll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you'll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote.
You can demonstrate experience in analysis, reporting, problem solving, and communication, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines and deliverables. You can demonstrate experience in Microsoft Office applications, including advanced Excel and Power BI. It's an asset if you have experience with governance, risk, and compliance tools such as eGRC and Archer. You give meaning to data.
