You’ll lead discovery of high-impact use cases, define product roadmaps, and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver scalable, enterprise-wide solutions. You’ll combine elements of product ownership, internal consulting, and change management to shape CIBC’s digital identity strategy and enable secure, seamless banking experiences. This is a highly collaborative and strategic role with exposure across the bank and strong alignment to transformation initiatives.

At CIBC, we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role. Details on your work arrangement (proportion of on-site and remote work) will be discussed at the time of your interview.

How You’ll Succeed
  • Define and Execute Product Strategy : Own the end-to-end vision, roadmap, and prioritization for CIBC’s portfolio of digital identity technology.

  • Lead Cross-Functional Collaboration : Align partners across Digital, Technology, Risk, Legal, Operations, and external vendors to deliver complex, high-impact initiatives.
  • Develop Strategic Presentations : Build clear, data-supported decks and business cases to influence decisions, communicate strategy, and drive stakeholder buy-in.
  • Conduct Financial and Qualitative Analysis : Evaluate opportunities and trade-offs using business value metrics, customer outcomes, and delivery feasibility.
  • Drive Internal Adoption : Act as a consultant and internal champion to promote usage and integration of digital identity capabilities across the bank.
Who You Are
  • Ownership mindset : You take full ownership of your work, demonstrating accountability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Strategic thinker : You have a consulting mindset—able to navigate ambiguity, frame problems, and influence decision-making through structured thinking and storytelling.
  • Stakeholder management : You excel at stakeholder management, translating complex needs into roadmaps and managing cross-functional alignment.
  • Technology research : You’re curious about emerging trends in digital identity, AI, and secure onboarding.
