Overview

Responsibilities

The person in this position will assist FM clients in physically protecting their large industrial and commercial properties against fire explosion earthquake collapse windstorm mechanical and electrical breakdown and many other hazards!

He or she will work with clients to develop sound loss prevention recommendations in order to manage any exposures and once the solution is agreed will help manage the project through to completion. In order to stay abreast of new developments in the field this person will receive frequent technical training that involves independent and classroom study.

The individual will be expected to work independently and should be willing to operate from a home office. An average of 35% overnight travel is expected.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a bachelors degree in engineering (civil chemical electrical mechanical materials and mining)
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must.
  • Good analytical organizational problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Efficient time management ability with minimal supervision.
  • Solid technical aptitude.
  • Valid drivers license
  • Proficient in MS Office products.
  • Must reside in the greater Toronto metropolitain area
