The Manager, Enablement Financial Reporting & Analytics is a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who will support the Canadian Banking Engineering (CBE) team and closely partner with the Canadian Banking finance team for clear and linked reporting, ensuring alignment and transparency across the bank. This team member will play a key role in enabling effective financial planning, cost governance, and performance tracking in partnership with senior leaders across Technology, Finance, and Business Management.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
  • Technology focused on financial reporting, analytics and insights for building operational models.
  • Build and monitor KPIs for the support lines ensuring transparency and clear communication.
  • Partner with CB Finance and Technology areas to identify and report on direct technology expenses to Canadian Banking.
  • Analyze variance drivers, build trend and provide analytics based on outlook for actionable insight.
  • Build quarterly and annual planning cycles, including forecasting and budgeting.
  • Develop executive dashboards and presentations to communicate financial performance.
  • Build strong partnership across business lines, Technology area for comprehensive reporting.
  • Financial transparency resulting from strong partnership resulting in meaningful reporting and storytelling.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation in financial operations.
  • Project: Point of contact for mapping expenses and operational needs against each support area.

  • + years of experience in financial planning, budgeting, or cost governance, ideally within a technology or banking environment.
  • Matrix working environment experience is crucial to the role for support of multiple business partners.
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, cost structures, and budgeting processes.
  • Ability to thrive in an ambiguous and complex environment.
  • Advanced Excel skills and financial modeling experience for monthly financials and insight.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a cross‑functional team.
  • Bachelor's degree in business technology management; a CPA or MBA designation is a plus.
