Overview

Team Details

The Audit Technologies group is part of the support team for the National Audit Center. It is responsible for implementing new technologies within Audit and providing digital and data analysis services to our clients. The team works within a multidisciplinary environment to deliver exclusive data analysis solutions to KPMG and external clients, and to support these initiatives.

Role Responsibilities

  • Automate key operational processes using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate workflows.
  • Identify issues, propose recommendations, opportunities, and mitigation strategies to mission teams.
  • Work with unique data analysis programs to deliver innovative solutions to our mission teams.
  • Handle large volumes of client data, importing it into KPMG's proprietary applications following the extract-transform-load process.
  • Build sustainable business relationships with client teams through missions and professional networking activities.
  • Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and supporting proposal preparations.
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with non-technical professionals.
  • Create and implement customized data analysis routines for clients.

Qualifications

Mandatory

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, database management, programming, or related fields.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Strong knowledge of statistics and mathematical fundamentals.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written); ability to work with multiple stakeholders, prioritize, and manage expectations.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
  • Time management skills and organizational abilities.
  • Knowledge of data extraction, transformation, and loading tools and features.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Preferred

  • Experience with Azure Databricks data management processes.
  • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, Power Query, Python, and R.
  • Experience with databases like SQL, MySQL, Oracle, etc.
  • Experience scripting SQL, creating API interfaces, and debugging.
  • This position requires strong English language skills for communication, collaboration, and policy interpretation. The successful candidate may need to support or collaborate with English-speaking colleagues and stakeholders.
