Job summary

Guidewire Software in Canada is seeking a Consultant Developer to join the Industry Innovation & Co-Development Group. The role focuses on bridging business needs with technical solutions and enabling customer adoption through a fast-paced, innovation-focused environment.

You will prototype and deliver Guidewire Cloud features, capture customer requirements, own full-stack development, and collaborate with Architects and Product teams to continuously improve offerings.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in technology consulting, solution development, or P&C insurance delivery.
  • Hands-on full-stack development experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills with both business and technical audiences.
  • Experience translating requirements into actionable solution designs and working software.
  • Ability to balance consulting finesse with technical competency.

Responsibilities

Consultant Developer (Software Developer) - Industry Innovation & Co-Development Group

Organization: Industry Innovation & Co-Development Group (InnoCoDev). This team will operate as a dedicated strategic function within Professional Services, working closely with Product Development, Sales, and Customer Success. Our mission is to accelerate the delivery of industry-wide solutions through strategic co-development partnerships with key customers. This initiative will establish a SWAT team within Professional Services to identify, cultivate, and operationalize these partnerships, demonstrating Guidewire Professional Services’ unique value proposition and capturing premium service opportunities.

Role Overview

As a Solution Consultant, you’ll work at the intersection of technology and customer adoption. You’ll help ensure customers succeed by bridging business needs with solutions and providing enablement support.

Key Responsibilities

Compensation and Benefits

The Canadian CAD base salary range for this full‑time position is $78,000 – $97,000. Your base pay will depend on your experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All full‑time positions or part‑time roles working 30 hours or more a week at Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well‑being including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company‑sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long‑term incentive awards which are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company and employee performance.
