What you’ll be doing

The Enterprise Anti-Money Laundering (EAML) Group is responsible for all aspects of CIBC's Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Anti-Terrorist Financing (ATF) and Sanctions regime, including development of policies and procedures, development and delivery of training, and reviewing the activities of CIBC's business and infrastructure groups, and investigative activities, including the receipt and analysis of information that may indicate money laundering, terrorist financing or sanctions violation, or other high-risk activity.

Reporting to the Senior Manager of Production support, the Consultant, Application support is accountable for EAML owned applications; Providing support for all users to EAML owned applications; Provide communication to related to system issues; and provide reporting. In addition, the incumbent will have to have an understanding in EAML Business processes and function of EAML Applications to ensure proper decisions are made relating to the applications.

  • Troubleshooting skills - Research, maintain, and provide solutions on each escalated incident; respond to clients (telephone, email, web); escalate incidents that cannot be resolved to the next level of support as required by documented procedures/policies.

  • Relationship Management – Work closely with business and tech partners to develop, test, and implement fixes to AML applications. Impact and improve the business by advising application owners on the technology issues and fixes
