Job summary

Kibbi Technologies Inc. in Surrey, BC is seeking applicants for a construction helper role. No degree or prior experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided. The position is permanent with a 40-hour workweek and conducted in English. Tasks include loading materials, building forms and scaffolding, assisting framing, and site clean-up.

Employees will perform routine maintenance, handle spills, and manage debris while operating or feeding construction equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
