Mustang Landscape & Design Ltd. is seeking a Construction Team Member to join our field crew in Victoria, BC. This hands-on role involves building and maintaining residential landscapes with a strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and practical skill-building.

You will work alongside experienced professionals on diverse tasks from excavation to planting, irrigation, and hardscape work, gaining experience and taking on increasing responsibilities over time.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in landscaping or outdoor work.
• Horticultural education or landscape experience is an asset.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Comfortable taking direction and applying feedback.
• Physically capable of lifting, digging, bending, and hands-on work.
• Valid BC Class 5 Driver’s Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Landscape construction including excavation, drainage, base prep, and hardscape installation.
• Irrigation installation, repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Planting and pruning.
• Lawn care, edging, and seasonal maintenance.
• Weeding and cultivation.
• Operating small landscaping equipment.
• Using a variety of hand and power tools.
• Loading, unloading, and organizing tools and materials.
• Working alongside the team to complete projects safely and efficiently.
• Communicating professionally with clients on their properties.

Mustang Landscape is growing, and we’re adding to our team this fall. We’re looking for an enthusiastic Construction Team Member. You’ll work alongside experienced landscape professionals building and maintaining beautiful residential landscapes throughout Greater Victoria.

This is a hands‑on role with lots of variety. You might be excavating and preparing a site one day, installing drainage or hardscape the next, and working on planting, irrigation, lighting, or other landscape projects after that. You’ll often be learning something new, picking up practical skills, and taking on new challenges as you gain experience.

What You’ll Do

• Landscape construction including excavation, drainage, base preparation, and hardscape installation
• Irrigation installation, repairs, and troubleshooting
• Planting and pruning
• Lawn cutting, edging, and seasonal lawn maintenance
• Weeding and cultivating
• Operating small landscaping equipment

• Learning new skills and taking on more responsibility as you gain experience
