Job summary

Autism Services is seeking a Construction Supervisor for our New Home Construction projects. This supervisory role will monitor and coordinate the activities of subcontractor staff on site.

Responsibilities include scheduling, ordering materials and labor, and even contributing hands-on in checkouts when needed. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in drafting or blueprint reading, and is proficient with Buildertrend and Microsoft Office; legal eligibility to work in Canada is required.

Qualifications

• At least elementary education completed.
• 2+ years drafting or blueprint reading experience.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and on-site teams.
• Proficient with Buildertrend and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate subcontractor staff on site.
• Coordinate, schedule, and order materials and labor.
• Be on-site to assist with checkouts and related tasks.
• Monitor progress to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Interact with homeowners, sales staff, sub-trades and office staff.

Construction Supervisor for our New Home Construction Company. This position will be a supervisory role and will monitor and coordinate the activities of subcontractor staff.

Responsibilities

• The Supervisor will also assist in coordinating, scheduling and ordering material, labor. As well as be able to be on the tools to help with checkouts etc.
• 2 + years experience, drafting, blueprint reading experience skills
• Experience computer skills with Microsoft Office and Buildertrend
• Good knowledge of National Building codes and Local Bylaws
• Ability to deal with homeowners, salespeople, sub-trades and office staff.
• Work in a high pace environment and must meet deadlines.

The Candidate must be legally eligible to work in Canada (ie Permanent Resident Status or Canadian Citizenship)

Must have a valid Class 5
