Construction Superintendent - Renovation Project Experience

Low Rise Concrete and Wood-frame Residential and One level commercial, one level parkade.

Our client is looking for the needle in a haystack Superintendent with a strong sense of leadership within the role. You will be primarily focused on the day-to-day management of a technically detailed and design-sensitive renovation project.

The successful candidate will oversee all on-site activities, coordinate with trades and consultants, and ensure that safety, quality, and schedule objectives are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead on-site construction activities for a complex renovation project.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and consultants in collaboration with the Project Manager.
• Enforce safety protocols and environmental standards in accordance with WorkSafeBC and site-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate daily documentation and progress reporting using Pro-core.
• Facilitate weekly look ahead schedules and ensure alignment with overall project timelines.
• Conduct regular site coordination meetings, promptly addressing issues as they arise.
• Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, and local stakeholders.
• Foster a respectful, inclusive site culture and provide mentorship to junior team members.
