The Site Superintendent is responsible for supervising and coordinating all field operations required to construct the project, including all on-site construction activities.

Responsibilities include:

1. Working with the project manager to coordinate site activities to meet schedules according to drawings, specifications, and trade contracts;
2. Ensuring project materials and workmanship meet quality standards and design requirements;
3. Providing weekly updates and holding meetings on project status;
4. Collaborating with contracting companies to procure supplies, equipment, and additional labor to meet construction schedules;
5. Maintaining current knowledge of Saskatchewan Occupational Health & Safety regulations and legislations;
6. Creating site-specific plans and procedures as required and implementing LVS's Safety Program to ensure a safe work environment;
7. Inspecting the work site continuously to ensure compliance with Ministry of Labour regulations and LVS's Health & Safety Policies;
8. Reading and understanding architectural, structural, electrical, and mechanical drawings;
9. Reviewing and understanding reports and documents including site services, structural, architectural, and M&E.

Education & Skills:

• A High School Diploma is required.
• Post-secondary education in Construction Management and/or journey person accreditation in related trades is preferred.
• Minimum three years of construction supervision experience required.
• This is an on-site position; ability to perform physical labor is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
