A leading consulting engineering firm in Alberta seeks a Construction Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater infrastructure projects in Edmonton. The ideal candidate will bring at least 8 years of project management experience and relevant certifications. This role necessitates strong leadership, excellent communication, and a proven track record of managing complex construction processes.
Aplin is proudto be partnering with a growing Alberta-based consulting engineering firm to identify a skilled and experienced Construction Project Manager. This is a key leadership opportunity for a candidate who brings a strong background in managing water and wastewater infrastructure projects, both in the field and through cross-functional collaboration with engineering teams.
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the construction phase of various water and wastewater infrastructure projects. Working closely with engineering professionals and multidisciplinary teams, the successful candidate will be instrumental in project execution, field supervision, client management, and driving quality and compliance through all phases of construction delivery.
This role is well-suited to Professional Engineers, Certified Engineering Technologists, or experienced Project Managers with a trades background and substantial site-based construction leadership experience.

Responsibilities
Lead and manage construction projects from kickoff to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, scope, and timelines
Provide on-site supervision of contractors and technical teams
Lead procurement processes including contract preparation, tendering, and evaluation
Interpret construction documents, drawings, and technical specifications
Qualifications
Red Seal Journeyman Certificationin a relevant trade
