ARCO/Murray is seeking a highly motivated Project Manager, passionate about the construction process, to join our team. You’ll be responsible for project performance and profit from day one, driving value through design coordination, cost control, and proactive risk management.

You’ll work closely with owners and the design team, oversee subcontractor buyout, and lead bi-weekly site meetings to ensure scope and quality align with client expectations and company standards.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering or related field.
• Full-time opportunity after graduation.
• Graduating Winter 2026 or Spring 2027.
• Minimum GPA 3.2/4.0.

Responsibilities

• Manage a project from start to completion, including estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, and cost reporting.
• Collaborate with owners and design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
• Oversee buyout, subcontractor selection, and bi-weekly site meetings.

A Day In The Life

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of a project. Including, estimating, scheduling, quality control, progress reports, progress billing, design review and coordination, cost reporting, safety, and proposal preparation
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct bi-weekly job site meetings
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines
• Organize, plan and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make necessary changes, use customer input to make improvements, and meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and other associates, while maintaining a constant focus on meeting/exceeding customer requirements and expectations

Necessary Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s of Engineering program or related field of study
• Open to fulltime opportunity post grad
• Graduating in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027
• Minimum GPA of 3.2 out of 4.0
• Prior construction internship experience is a plus
• Extracurricular involvement is a plus
