We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our Construction Team.

As a Project Manager at TROIKA Construction, you will lead and oversee all aspects of assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager, you will manage communication, coordination, and systems throughout all project phases—from development to post-construction. Collaboration with the TROIKA team is essential as project portfolios evolve.

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong work ethic, proactive approach, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of construction processes, safety regulations, and project management best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Development Team to coordinate design, engineering, legal, and code consultants.
  • Evaluate and communicate site and building design feasibility among surveyors, construction teams, and stakeholders.
  • Develop work plans, cost estimates, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate drawings with architects and manage building permit applications.
  • Procure trades and manage budgets for various designs and construction options.
  • Establish construction budgets collaboratively with the Development and Senior Project Managers.
  • Work with superintendents and trades to prepare logistics and staging plans.
  • Create detailed construction schedules and packages.
  • Collaborate with all teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
  • Provide technical support to administration and consultants.
  • Review offsite civil work and engineering processes with the Development Manager.
  • Manage change orders, purchase orders, expenses, and timelines, anticipating risks.
  • Devise alternative solutions for time and cost savings.
  • Complete post-construction requirements, including inspections and certifications.
  • Ensure a smooth hand-over process with clients.
  • Create systems for documentation and communication.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years managing wood frame multi-family construction.
  • Experience with lean construction methods.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, MS Outlook; Procore experience is an asset.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing environment and develop new standards.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
