Hudson Meridian Construction Group is actively seeking an experienced, high-energy construction Project Manager with Public Sector experience to join our growing team! The project is located in Kingston, NY, and involves a logistically challenging, ground-up construction.
This position requires mastering the technical aspects of the project, including resolving technical issues with the design team and contractors, and ensuring all project parties meet deliverables and expectations.
The individual will lead the project's financial processes, track the entire project budget and requisition process, and ensure that support staff, contractors, and consultants submit accurate and timely documentation. Understanding and evaluating the project schedule to identify areas for improvement and risk is essential.
The Project Manager will oversee the daily activities of engineering and inspection sub-consultants.
Experience in evaluating and negotiating change orders is necessary. The role also involves leading meetings and managing the client relationship daily, requiring strong interpersonal skills.
The candidate must be almost exclusively on-site at the Kingston, NY project location, with occasional travel to the main office in NYC, including overnight stays as needed.
