Established in 1979, Teraflex provides electrical, telecommunication, and civil construction services for a diverse range of clients, including land and property developers, general contractors involved in major projects, as well as municipal, provincial, and federal governments.

Position: Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure (On-Site)

The position embodies our brand attributes of Lead, Innovate, and Commit to Excellence. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager works closely with the project team and leads to help deliver construction projects efficiently, on time, and within budget. The incumbent is responsible for project management activities related to multiple projects, safety, and quality control for Teraflex clients and stakeholders.

Accountabilities
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources for project execution.
  • Visit sites regularly to initiate projects, track progress, and resolve site challenges.
  • Proactively monitor project performance, identify challenges, risks, or deficits.
  • Liaise with authorities (ESA, Municipalities, Utilities, etc.) for permits and approvals.
  • Assist in resource planning, availability, and allocation with the Director of Operations.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Perform safety and quality assurance inspections and audits.
  • Operate with an innovative mindset to maximize efficiencies.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach with stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.
Required Skills/Qualifications
  • Education in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager in construction.
  • Preferred assets include:
    • CAPM or PMP certification.
    • Understanding of utility construction.
    • Electrical background.
    • Bilingualism.
