Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure
The Project Manager will utilize relevant methodologies and tools to plan and coordinate new construction, renovations, and demolition projects. Key responsibilities include ensuring timely invoice submissions, supporting project estimation, and financial reporting.

Duties Include
- Develop solutions to improve designs, conduct site audits, validate work requests, and prepare estimates.
- Support the Manager of Operations.
- Review specifications, assist in contract administration and project management.
- Solicit and evaluate quotations from consultants and contractors.
- Coordinate communication between clients, contractors, and consultants.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Monitor contract performance and resolve issues.
- Attend site meetings and oversee site progress.
- Coordinate post-construction inspections and warranty management.
- Prepare reports for senior management.
- Promote and enforce Health & Safety policies and practices.
- Comply with all relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation.
Required Qualifications And Experience
- Degree in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering.
- Project management experience preferred.
- At least 5 years of relevant civil and/or electrical construction experience, including contract administration and subcontractor management.
- Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean record.
- Experience with underground construction is essential.
- Strong civil construction background, proficient in MS Office and project management tools. PMP certification is an advantage.
- Expertise in interpreting construction drawings, specifications, and contracts, including estimating and tender preparation.
- Hands-on experience in large civil projects; unionized environment experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of relevant acts and codes (OH&S Act, Construction Lien Act, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, etc.).
- Understanding of construction contract law.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Reliable vehicle and ability to commute to sites.
