Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure (On-Site)

Reporting to the Director of Operations, the Project Manager works closely with the project team to deliver construction projects efficiently, on time, and within budget. The incumbent is responsible for project management activities related to multiple projects, as well as safety and quality control for Teraflex clients and stakeholders.

Accountabilities

  1. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  2. Coordinate and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
  3. Manage internal and external resources for project execution.
  4. Visit sites regularly to initiate projects, track progress, and resolve site challenges.
  5. Proactively monitor and analyze project performance, identifying challenges, risks, or deficits.
  6. Liaise with approval authorities (e.g., ESA, Municipalities, Utilities) for permits and approvals.
  7. Collaborate with the Director of Operations on resource planning, availability, and allocation according to project schedules and requirements.
  8. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation (e.g., contracts).
  9. Perform safety and quality assurance inspections and audits.
  10. Operate with an innovative mindset to maximize efficiencies and improve processes.
  11. Demonstrate a customer-centric approach with internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Operations.

Required Skills / Qualifications and Experience

  • Education in Engineering, Project Management, Construction, or equivalent work experience.
  • 3-5 years experience as a Project Coordinator or Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Additional assets include:
  • CAPM or PMP certification.
  • Understanding of utility construction.
  • Electrical background.
  • Bilingualism.
