Position Title: Construction Project Manager

We act as owners representatives resolving issues, managing conflicts, and guiding informed decisions to keep projects on track. Day to day responsibilities
  • Plan and execute project work streams: develop and maintain the project plan for the assigned scope, including tasks, owners, milestones, and dependencies; ensure work progresses on schedule.
  • Daily project coordination: manage day-to-day coordination among design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel; track task completion and resolve blockers.
  • Budget oversight for scoped work: monitor the budget for the specific scope, track costs, review and approve small-to-moderate change orders within authorization limits, and report variances to the Senior PM or PMO.
  • Schedule maintenance and updates: maintain, update, and communicate the project schedule (often at a more granular level than the master schedule); ensure look-ahead planning and field readiness are aligned.
  • Quality and safety compliance: ensure work complies with design intent, codes, standards, project-specific QA/QC requirements, and safety policies; escalate issues as needed.
  • Procurement coordination: assist with issuing bids for targeted trades/vendors within the scope, evaluate bids, coordinate procurement deliveries, and manage subcontractor performance at the project level.
  • Risk and issue management: identify, document, and track project risks and issues; implement agreed mitigation actions and escalate critical items promptly.
  • Change management within scope: assess, document, and process changes within approved authority; coordinate with the Senior PM for larger implications.
  • Stakeholder communications: provide regular status updates to the Senior PM, client representatives, and internal stakeholders; participate in progress meetings and site walks.
  • Documentation and records: maintain project documentation (RFCs, RFIs, submittals, daily reports, meeting minutes, as-built records) in an organized, audit-ready manner.
  • Commissioning support and handover: assist with commissioning activities, testing, and turnover packages; ensure documentation and warranties are collected.
  • Field execution leadership: supervise on-site teams, coordinate trades, manage day-to-day field logistics, and ensure safety and productivity targets are met.
  • Subcontractor and vendor management: monitor subcontractor progress, quality, and compliance with schedule; coordinate delivery and installation sequences.
  • Design coordination support: assist with RFI responses, design clarifications, and coordination with design consultants as issues arise on the ground.
  • Permitting and site access coordination: help track permit logistics, inspections, and access requirements relevant to the project phase.
  • Quality assurance checks: perform site QA checks, support deficiency lists, and verify remnants of work meet acceptance criteria.
