CA$100,000.00 / yr - CA$135,000.00 / yr

This position is full-time, on-site in the Ottawa area for our ICI Building Division.

Job Responsibilities

• Providing safety leadership to the project team and subcontractors
• Planning, scheduling, and controlling daily activities of a project
• Managing administration of prime contracts and subcontracts
• Negotiating and awarding subcontracts
• Managing project budgets and billings
• Maintaining positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, and subcontractors

Candidate Requirements

• At least ten (10) years of experience in Institutional, Commercial, and Industrial construction; Water / Wastewater experience is an asset
• Holding a P.Eng, GSC, or PMP certification
• Experience with LEED projects or LEED AP designation (asset, not mandatory)
• Knowledge of the local market
• Experience managing large projects ($10M - $200M)
• Experience with commissioning and startup of complex systems
• Leadership, motivational, and mentoring skills
• Strong management, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and French
• Service and results-oriented
• Ability to interpret contract documents, drawings, and schedules
• Eligible for security clearances and possess a valid driver’s license
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
