Job Description

We are seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Medicine Hat office. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong organizational and leadership skills, thriving in a dynamic environment. You will manage construction projects and provide technical expertise on infrastructure projects such as roads, water mains, sewers, waste, drainage, and stormwater systems for diverse clients. You will lead with a forward-thinking approach, fostering teamwork to enhance performance and client service.

Your Responsibilities
  • Leading design, cost estimation, specifications, and contract documentation; participating in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, and project inspection.
  • Being the primary client contact for project communications.
  • Collaborating with teams across disciplines and locations.
  • Managing projects through construction, ensuring client expectations are met.
  • Delivering projects within budget and schedule.
  • Supporting project delivery and mentoring team members.
  • Monitoring contractor operations for compliance with contracts and specifications.
Job Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in construction administration and inspection.
  • Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Management is preferred.
  • Experience with contract administration and on-site inspection.
  • Experience with consulting or contracting firms is an asset.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
