Responsibilities:

1. Prepare production and other reports
2. Supervise workers and projects
3. Co-ordinate and schedule activities
4. Oversee apprenticeship training
5. Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
6. Train or arrange for training
7. Operate CADD and other computer software systems
8. Set up machines and equipment
9. Estimate costs and materials
10. Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
11. Recommend personnel actions
12. Read blueprints and drawings
13. Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
