Job description

Peter Lucas Project Management invests in people, community, and cutting-edge technology to provide gold standard project delivery. We are seeking an experienced Construction Oversight Consultant to provide professional oversight and coordination of mechanical and civil construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide on-site oversight of the supply and installation of a steel water surge tank.
2. Coordinate logistical operations, including transportation of materials via truck and barge.
3. Liaise with operational staff to ensure minimal impact on day-to-day operations.
4. Ensure work is in compliance with project specifications, timelines, and safety standards.
5. Maintain communication with project stakeholders and contractors for efficient project execution.

Site Requirements:

Work hours and site presence should align with the site contractor’s schedule, which may include rotational shifts such as:

• 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off
• 2 weeks on / 1 week off

Minimum Requirements:

1. Proven experience in mechanical and civil construction oversight, preferably in hydroelectric or industrial environments.
2. Strong coordination and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to manage logistics in remote or complex project sites.
3. Familiarity with site safety regulations and best practices in construction environments.
4. Previous construction experience.
