Company Overview:

RLM Underground, established in 2016, specializes in underground telecom construction projects across the Midwest. The company has experienced rapid growth, expanding into a full-turnkey telecommunications contractor with offices in Central Kentucky and Central Illinois, focusing on serving smaller Telco providers in those regions.

Position Summary:

RLM Underground is seeking a motivated and experienced Construction Manager for the Vancouver, WA area. The CM will oversee construction sites, ensuring safety for employees and crews, and manage underground and aerial telecommunications construction projects. The goal is to meet all customer needs effectively.

Responsibilities:
  1. Oversee construction sites to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  2. Manage customer and homeowner relations, addressing complaints and restoration concerns.
  3. Ensure all work complies with approved documents and procedures.
  4. Complete projects in a timely, efficient, and safe manner.
  5. Lead and direct ground crews daily.
  6. Develop redline and daily reports.
  7. Procure materials and supplies at job sites, including straw, seed, cutters, shovels, batteries, tarps, and paint.
  8. Monitor schedule updates and progress.
  9. Maintain cleanliness of job sites, equipment, and company vehicles.
  10. Perform daily inspections of vehicles, equipment, and sites.
Job Details:

Type: Full Time

Salary: $70,000 - $95,000 annually, based on experience, plus weekly production bonuses.

Minimum Requirements:
  • Knowledge of telecom construction technology.
  • At least 5 years of telecommunications experience.
  • Risk assessment and management skills.
  • Understanding of administrative policies and procedures.
  • Strong leadership skills.
