Job Description:

Parsons is seeking a talented Construction Manager - Roads & Infrastructure to join our team. In this role, you will lead the execution of critical civil works within the airport program, ensuring high standards of delivery, safety, and coordination across interfaces.

This position is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and has a strong background in delivering road and utility infrastructure in compliance with international standards.

What You'll Be Doing:
  1. Lead and manage construction activities for road networks, utility corridors, stormwater drainage, and related civil infrastructure.
  2. Ensure all works adhere to approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
  3. Coordinate with planning and scheduling teams to align activities with project milestones.
  4. Develop look-ahead schedules and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery.
  5. Oversee multiple contractors and subcontractors, ensuring scope, timeline, and quality expectations are met.
  6. Resolve technical issues and construction conflicts in collaboration with design and technical teams.
  7. Coordinate with other project packages and stakeholders for seamless integration.
  8. Manage permits and access arrangements with utility agencies and third parties.
  9. Enforce safety standards and HSE procedures across all activities.
  10. Conduct inspections and monitor quality control measures.
  11. Prepare progress reports and track project KPIs, escalating issues as needed.
  12. Liaise with clients, consultants, and project teams to ensure alignment.
  13. Support review meetings, site walkthroughs, and audits.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • 15 years of relevant heavy civil construction experience, including 5+ years in managerial roles on major infrastructure or airport projects.
  • Proven success in delivering road and utility infrastructure projects.
  • Deep knowledge of roadworks, stormwater, utilities, and earthworks.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent understanding of safety standards and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, and Excel.
  • Knowledge of contract management and construction methodologies.
  • Experience with airport or mega-infrastructure projects in the GCC region.
  • Familiarity with permitting processes and utility coordination.
  • Knowledge of BIM and digital construction tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Aconex or similar platforms.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP) is preferred.
