Job summary

RAM Consulting Inc. seeks a Construction Manager, Electrical Utility Projects to lead delivery of large electrical utility infrastructure across British Columbia.

You will oversee construction activities to ensure safety, quality, on budget, and on schedule, coordinating with clients, contractors, and First Nations communities. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of construction management experience on utility projects, familiarity with BC Hydro environments, strong communication, risk management

Qualifications

• 7+ years of construction management experience on utility, infrastructure, or electrical utility projects.
• Experience supporting BC Hydro projects, standards, or environments is strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of project management and contract management.
• Excellent knowledge of safety standards and regulations (WorkSafeBC, Occupational Safety).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

About the Role

For this expression of interest, we are seeking a Construction Manager, Electrical Utility Projects to support the delivery of large, complex utility infrastructure projects across British Columbia.

This role is ideal for someone with strong construction management experience, a solid understanding of project and contract delivery, and exposure to electrical utility environments.

The Construction Manager will lead construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, with quality, on budget, and on schedule.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Lead construction delivery for large, complex electrical utility projects and programs

What We’re Looking For

• 7+ years of construction management experience, ideally on utility, infrastructure, or electrical utility projects
• Experience supporting BC Hydro projects, standards, processes, or project environments is strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of project management and contract management
• Excellent knowledge of safety standards and regulations, including WorkSafeBC and Occupational Safety requirements
• Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to manage complex construction issues in a calm, professional, and solutions-focused way
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English

Compensation & Benefits

The estimated annual base salary for this position is$105,000 - $115,000as of the posting date. Actual compensation within this range will be determined based on factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and training.
