We are in search of an experienced Construction Manager to lead complex projects in the Electrical Utilities sector, joining our Western Canadian team. You will drive success in Transmission & Distribution projects characterized by high complexity and diverse scope, collaborating with top-tier professionals and stakeholders. You will leverage your expertise to uphold excellence in quality, safety, and efficiency.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Provide strategic leadership across all construction phases to ensure safety, quality, environmental compliance, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.
  2. Manage risks—including construction safety, reputational, environmental, and Indigenous relations—through targeted assessments and mitigation.
  3. Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of construction-related outages, including maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to electrical infrastructure, while minimizing operational disruptions and maintaining service continuity.
  4. Conduct Safe Work Observations, promote safety culture, and support client compliance.
  5. Facilitate constructability reviews to improve design and execution.
  6. Establish designated work zones, develop site-specific security measures, and ensure emergency preparedness protocols are in place and effective.
  7. Optimize resources, develop detailed work packages, and oversee construction management plans, budgets, and schedules.
  8. Perform site inspections, manage teams and materials, and drive project delivery.
  9. Serve as a subject matter expert, contributing to organizational improvements in construction initiatives and practices.
Qualifications

The expected salary for this position ranges from $115,000 to $140,000, depending on experience, training, skills, and internal equity. The actual salary may vary based on the candidate's profile.
