A well-established constructionfirmwith a strong focus on construction management, general contracting and infrastructure projects across Ontario is seeking an Construction Manager - Bridges. With a growing portfolio of large-scale projects, this company is known for its commitment to quality, timelines and employee engagement.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

This position offers a chance to be part of a fast-paced, growing organization where you will lead all aspects of multiple large construction projects while developing key leadership skills. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project delivery from start to finish.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in construction with at least 8 years of experience of managing large bridge projects.
• Post Secondary degree or diploma in Construction or Engineering.
• Has knowledge of construction engineering and design.
• Knowledge of Ontario Health & Safety Act.
• Knowledge of Federal and Provincial regulations.
• Experience with cost control, scheduling, and safety policies.
• Proven leadership skills mentoring and elevating site workers.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Oversee, lead and be accountable for the development and execution of project schedules and plans.
• Identify potential challenges that could impactproject timelines, anddevelopstrategies to eliminate bottlenecks and keep projects on track.
• Developand mentor strong performing teams through training and coaching opportunities.
• Oversee the preconstruction phaseand team selection, ensuring all key project deliverables are met.
• Develop strong relationships with clients, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to increase business development opportunities.
