Job summary

EllisDon in Canada is seeking a Construction Manager to oversee a major project with a value exceeding $1B. You will direct design, construction and warranty handover, ensuring alignment with budget, schedule and quality targets.

Lead planning, scheduling, and engineering activities while coordinating diverse teams. A strong focus on safety, compliance and continuous improvement is required.

Qualifications

• 15+ years supervisory or equivalent experience.
• Engineering or Construction related degree/diploma, or an equivalent work experience.
• Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods); company policies, procedures and standards.
• Excellent communication, organizational, supervisory and planning skills.
• Experience in Data Centers, Pharmaceutical Plants, Laboratories, Industrial Facilities, EV Battery Plants, and Battery Components Manufacturing Plans is an asset.

• Accountable for overall project performance of one major project (> $1B in value).
• Oversee the design, construction, and warranty handover of the project to ensure it is completed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule objectives.
• Provide direction to planning, scheduling, and engineering functions as required.
• Develop and maintain pre-construction schedules, baseline construction schedules, procurement schedules, commissioning and PDI schedules.
• Plan, coordinate and/or supervise activities of all company personnel on assigned project(s).
• Ensure project safety standards, company, client policies and environmental programs are adhered to.
