We are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to oversee projects across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors in Canada. The role involves managing all phases of construction, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with Canadian building codes and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, organize, and supervise construction projects from design to completion.
Prepare project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
Ensure compliance with Canadian building codes, OHSA, and safety regulations.
Lead and mentor teams of engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
Oversee procurement, contract negotiations, and cost control.
Monitor progress, quality standards, and risk management.
Maintain client relationships, provide project updates, and resolve issues.
Promote sustainable and innovative building practices.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
8+ years of construction project management experience, including 3+ in leadership roles.
Knowledge of Canadian codes, permits, and safety standards.
Strong expertise in budgeting, scheduling, and project software (MS Project, Primavera, Procore).
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Certifications like PMP, P.Eng, or Gold Seal (CCA) are an asset.
