LP Landscape Plus Inc. is hiring a Construction Lead Hand to support day-to-day operations on high-end residential and commercial projects. You'll work closely with the Crew Leader to ensure quality, safety, and efficiency while developing your leadership skills and advancing your career in a company that invests in its people.

Founded in 1994 and based in Ariss, Ontario, LP Landscape Plus Inc. is a trusted provider of premier landscaping services. With 20 to 30 team members and a reputation for exceptional results, we specialize in both property maintenance and large-scale construction projects, including pools, interlocking, retaining walls, driveways, and more.

As a Construction Lead Hand, you'll play a hands-on role in building patios, retaining walls, gardens, poolscapes, and more. You'll assist in supervising the crew, help manage materials and equipment, and ensure that all work meets LP's high standards. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid experience who is ready to grow into a future leadership position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Crew Leader in day-to-day project execution
  • Support crew coordination and site logistics
  • Install hardscape and softscape features: pavers, natural stone, retaining walls, grading, planting, etc.
  • Operate compactors, saws, skid steers, and other construction equipment safely
  • Monitor jobsite safety and quality standards
  • Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
  • Communicate issues and progress clearly to the Crew Leader
  • Help train and guide junior crew members
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient worksite

Qualifications

  • 2 or more years of experience in landscape or construction projects
  • Proficiency with construction equipment and tools
  • Valid G-Class Driver's License and reliable transportation
  • Ability to read plans and take direction effectively
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail
  • Comfortable working outdoors in variable weather
  • Team-oriented and eager to grow professionally

Salary And Benefits

  • Full-time position
  • Competitive hourly wage at CA$ 21 to CA$ 28 based on experience
