Job description

Bole Construction Inc. located at 15300 Croydon Dr Suite 300, Surrey, BC V3Z 0Z5 is looking for 2 construction labourers to assist skilled tradespersons and perform labouring activities at restoration sites. The salary range is $25 – $28 per hour depending on experience, working an average of 40 hours per week.

Bole construction Inc. was established to provide reliable building restoration and maintenance solutions. Today, BCI brings together a full range of in-house, multi-disciplinary expertise to address restoration, renewal, and water proofing challenges.

These are full-time, permanent, year-round positions.

Our ideal candidates must have experience in various aspects of construction, including building envelope and/or liquid applied membranes, be productive with minimum supervision, can clearly communicate with clients, and have own transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials, tools, and equipment to and from job sites
• Assist skilled tradespersons with building restoration, waterproofing, and envelope repair activities
• Prepare work areas by setting up scaffolding, containment, ladders, tarps, and safety barriers
• Remove damaged concrete, sealants, membranes, coatings, and other deteriorated building materials
• Clean and prepare surfaces for waterproofing, caulking, coating, and restoration work
• Mix, pour, and spread construction materials such as grout, mortar, concrete, and patching compounds
• Apply waterproofing membranes, primers, sealants, and protective coatings under supervision
• Assist with window, balcony, and exterior wall restoration and replacement projects
• Operate basic hand and power tools including grinders, jackhammers, drills, pressure washers, and saws
• Perform debris removal, site cleanup, and disposal of construction waste materials
• Follow company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times
• Assist with moving and positioning materials at heights using hoists or lifting equipment where required
• Support seasonal exterior maintenance and repair work on residential, commercial, and industrial buildings
• Inspect tools and work areas to maintain a safe and organized construction site
• Perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions and at elevated heights

Requirements and Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in various aspects of construction, including building envelope and/or liquid applied membranes
• Productive requiring minimum supervision
• Good communication skills and ability to speak the language at work (English)
• Have own transportation
• Reliable. Reference may be requested
