Job description

MATRIX is a national company providing camps, logistics and aviation management services to a diverse range of clients in the resource and service sectors, focusing on our people.

We are currently seeking Construction Labourers for a special project happening in Bathurst Inlet Nunavut, on a 4 in 2 out rotation, for approximately 3 months. In this role you will be part of a Team assisting construction crews in performing physical labour, in support of a Mine construction project.

Requirements

  • Past experience in construction or labor-related fields is preferred
  • Ability to perform hard physical labor and lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs)
  • Willingness and ability to work in challenging outdoor environments and varying weather conditions
  • Punctuality and reliability are critical for this role.
  • A safety positive attitude and the ability to complete all assigned tasks safely is a requirement.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn are required.
  • Ability to work well within a team and follow directions is required.
  • Valid driver's license preferred, but not required
  • Level 1 First-aid, and WHMIS is required.


Benefits

Fly-in / Fly-out from Edmonton Alberta is provided. No Commercial travel to Edmonton is covered.

Salary
