Job summary

Westdell Development Corp. is seeking a Construction Labourer for full-time work at our London, Ontario site. The role involves loading and unloading materials, operating basic tools, and assisting with paving, demolition, and site clean-up in an outdoor, busy construction setting.

Applicants should have 7 months to under 1 year of experience, no formal degree required, and be prepared to work on site in a physically demanding environment with noise and varied weather conditions.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma is required.
• Experience with construction materials handling and basic tools.
• Ability to work outdoors in a noisy, hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Pave and rake asphalt.
• Assist in demolishing buildings.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
