Job summary

Corrosion Service Company Limited in Markham, Ontario seeks a Construction Labourer for a contract position extending through December 2026, with full-time hours most weeks. Pay range is $23.00–$30.00 per hour.

• Truck use on off road terrain is an asset.
• Cathodic protection background is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Assist with construction tasks on projects, including cathodic protection installations.
• Perform line digs, anode well excavations, and manual labour.
• Contribute to capital construction projects and corrosion inhibitor casing projects.
• Install technical equipment and rectifiers.
• Assist with field testing of AC mitigation projects.
• Maintain and operate vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Title: Construction Labourer
Location: Markham, Ontario
Job Type: Contract position (until December 2026) with full-time (40+) hours in majority of work weeks
Pay Range: $23.00 - $30.00

Responsibilities

Assist with the completion of tasks related to construction projects. Examples of field tasks are as follows:

• Cathodic Protection Installations
• Line digs and anode well excavations
• Manual Labour
• Capital Construction Projects
• Corrosion Inhibitor casing projects
• Technical equipment installation
• Rectifier Installations

• Assist with the completion of tasks related to field testing of AC mitigation projects.
• Maintenance and operational function of assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50lbs regularly and willing to routinely work outdoors.
• Should have solid hands-on technical capabilities, a valid driver’s license, and be willing to travel, and work overtime.
• General understanding of electrical circuits and theory.
• Good initiative, adaptable, flexible, and team player.
• Truck use on off road terrain will be an asset.
• Any cathodic protection background will be an asset.
