Job summary

AVL Construction Group Inc is looking for a construction labourer to support road and site work on varying travel assignments across jobsites. The role is seasonal and on-road, with training provided.

Shifts include early morning to evening, with 40–60 hours per week. Outdoors work in dusty/cold environments, heavy lifting, and travel may be required. A valid driver's license is expected.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Must be able to work outdoors in dusty/cold conditions.
• Frequent travel and on-road work; valid driver license.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Assist in drilling and blasting rock on construction sites.
• Operate bridge or overhead cranes to lift, move and place plant machinery and materials.
• Level earth to fine grade specifications.
• Pave and rake asphalt.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Perform routine maintenance work.
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites.
