About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced and confident Construction Labourer who takes pride in their work and can operate both independently and as part of a team. This role is ideal for a self-starter who thrives in a professional but approachable environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform general carpentry and construction tasks including painting, framing, drywall, millwork, and more.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with foreman, subcontractors, and fellow trades.
  • Follow direction and implement project changes quickly and efficiently.
  • Manage time well to stay on task and meet project deadlines.
  • Demonstrate responsibility, reliability, and punctuality, while showing respect and professionalism when working in clients' homes.
  • Ensure the jobsite is kept safe, clean, and organized.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Pay close attention to detail and maintain a high standard of workmanship.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience in construction and general carpentry.
  • Supply and maintain your own tools and equipment.
  • Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  • Physically able to meet the demands of construction work.
  • Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, and out-of-town jobs as needed.
  • Comfortable with multiple site visits in a day.
  • Ability to provide clear timesheets and invoices (subcontract position)

Additional Information:

  • 3-month probationary period.
  • Full-time contract and/or hourly.
  • Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal record check.
