We are currently seeking experienced Construction Inspectors for our Water Infrastructure team in London, Kitchener, and Mississauga offices, supporting projects in surrounding areas. Ideal candidates will have municipal construction experience, thoroughness, and strong communication skills.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Inspect municipal construction sites for quality control and compliance with standards, design, and specifications.
  • Document site activities, including daily reports, photographs, survey checks, and as-built conditions; monitor deficiencies.
  • Provide solutions for unforeseen construction issues.
  • Review and comment on payment certificates and quotations.
  • Coordinate geotechnical investigations and material testing, liaising with engineering specialists.
  • Engage with clients, inspectors, utility companies, residents, and stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications:
  • At least 3 years of municipal engineering construction experience, specifically in water and/or wastewater treatment, storage, or conveyance.
  • Strong communication skills for dealing with staff, contractors, and the public.
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • MTO Class ‘G’ driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
  • Knowledge of OHSA, Ontario Provincial Standards, and Specifications for municipal projects.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
