Job Description
We are currently searching for a Construction Inspector in our Edmonton office.
The successful candidate will work the transportation team to provide construction inspection and design services for a variety of public and private sector clients with a focus on highways, roads, and transportation-related infrastructure. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects and develop your skills in many areas.

Your responsibilities will include:
• Monitoring the Contractor’s operations to ensure compliance with contract terms, design specifications, and drawings.
• Monitoring progress and schedules.
• Preparing weekly & daily reports.
• Maintaining projects records and site diaries.
• Reviewing contractor work procedure submissions.
• Monitoring of quality control testing.
• Reviewing on-site quantities.
Job Requirements
What you will bring:
• A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction, or Construction Management.
• Registered, or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGA or with ASET.
• 5+ of experience with road construction inspection, including some Alberta Transportation and Economic Corridors experience.
• Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is an asset.
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Committed team player.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to travel throughout Alberta.
