Job summary

A local contracting company in Sechelt is looking for a construction helper to assist with various physical tasks on-site. The ideal candidate should be able to load and unload materials, perform routine maintenance, and ensure safety at work sites. This full-time permanent position offers a salary of $24.00 per hour with a maximum of 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in construction.
  • Ability to work at physical locations only.
  • Commitment to safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Load, unload and transport construction materials.
  • Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Perform routine maintenance work.
  • Clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
