Job summary

A construction company is seeking workers in Nanaimo, Canada. The position requires loading, unloading, and transporting materials, as well as erecting and dismantling scaffolding and concrete forms. No prior experience is needed, as training will be provided. This is a permanent position with 40 hours of work per week in English.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials.
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades.
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
• Clean and pile salvaged materials.
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
• Help tradespersons, apprentices and other workers as directed.
